Iced cakes
Usually covered with a layer of marzipan followed by a layer of sugar paste/fondant and icing decoration made from sugarpaste.
Lemon Sponge
A moist and zingy sponge made with fresh lemons, soaked in a lemon syrup and layered with lemon ganache and luxury lemon curd.
Chocolate Cake
Quite a dense, moist chocolate cake. This is very chocolatey, with luscious layering of chocolate ganache to intensify the chocolate experience. Home-made raspberry jam added upon request – a heavenly combo!
Carrot Cake
A moist, dense carrot and cinnamon cake that is layered with lemon buttercream. Suitable for the bottom layer of a large cake.
Vanilla Sponge
Perfumed with Madagascan vanilla. This sponge can be layered with either vanilla buttercream or a creamy chocolate ganache.
Coconut Cake
A lovely moist cake, layered with coconut buttercream.
Traditional Fruit Cake
With exceptional keeping qualities, a popular choice. A delicious cake where fruit is plumped up by soaking in rum, whisky or brandy, your choice. An alcohol free version can be made if that is what you require.
