How much will the cake cost?
The cakes are all individually designed, baked and decorated and therefore vary in price accordingly. I never make two the same so price depends on the size, type of cake and the level of detail required in the decorating.
What are the payment terms and conditions?
A non-refundable 20% deposit is due on ordering to secure your order and date. The balance in payable upon collection.
How far in advance should I order?
As soon as possible so as to secure the date.
Which is the best way to order?
I can take the order in whichever way it suits, email, telephone or a personal visit to my home. Some customers will come and visit and seek my advice on design whereas others will email or ring through their requirements.
I have so many ideas for the cake design and flavours. Can I make suggestions?
Of course, it is your cake and your requirements are paramount.
I would like a tall cake with several tiers but don’t need much cake?
I can decorate fake tiers as necessary to give the desired height. The fake tiers are made from polystyrene but will be covered in icing and look like the real thing.
Can I have different flavoured tiers?
Yes it is perfectly ok to have different flavours in each tier.
Do you supply cake toppers?
Yes I model my own decorations from sugarpaste and these are all edible.
